This is a beautiful fine gold plated chain necklace with gorgeous vibrant purple crystal stone in shiny polished bezel setting which catches the light beautifully.

The necklace is in excellent unworn condition. Dates late 1980s/early 1990s.

Length: 16 inches / 41 cm The necklace closes with iconic Givenchy 'G' fastener, complete with oval lozenge marked Givenchy Paris New York.

Luxury French fashion and perfume house Givenchy was founded in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy. Famous for designing the iconic little black dress that Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Givenchy began designing costume jewellery in the 1960s.
