A Mid Century Silver and Marcasite Lizard Brooch

A  beautifully crafted solid silver lizard brooch studded with marcasites with green stone eyes in Art Deco style dating circa 1950s.

The marcasites are set into silver and the brooch is stamped 'Sterling' .

In excellent condition with all stones intact. With rollover clasp.

With 7cm (2¾") at widest point. 

Please note this is a vintage piece and there is only one available, so once it is gone, it is gone!

Lizards have a long history representing good luck. In Ancient Greece and Rome lizards also symbolised wisdom and good fortune
