A late 19th century gold and split pearl horseshoe stick pin, with lovely horse shoe detail on the reverse side. Contains 13 graduated creamy pearls. Dates late 1880s - early 1900s.

In very good condition.

Stick pins became popular during early Victorian time and were originally used to secure the cravats, scarves and blouses of Victorian gentlefolk.
