Make a statement with this stunning exceptionally large antique Villeroy & Boch hand painted Delft-style signed plaque. Made in Mettlach, Germany. Circa 1900.
There are no chips, cracks or crazing and there have been no repairs to the piece. There is a scratch under the glaze which appears as an extension of the fishing line (bottom left) but overall in excellent condition considering the plate is over one hundred years old. The foot rim is pierced with two holes where the piece can be hung on the wall. Please refer to the images which form part of the description.
This charming wall plate displays beautifully and would be a great addition to your home - as a style statement on the wall or to a grouping of Delft porcelain.
